Equal Protection West Virginia
Equal protection for every human being in West Virginia, born and unborn.
All human beings are image-bearers of God. By God’s grace, we’re working to abolish abortion in West Virginia by advancing legislation that protects preborn children equally under the law.
What is equal protection?
Equal protection means the law treats preborn children the same as born children. A bill of equal protection would write that into West Virginia law, so ending the life of a child in the womb is treated the same as ending the life of a two-year-old.
What we believe
Every life is sacred.
Every human being, born and unborn, bears the image of God.
Justice must be impartial.
“You shall not distort justice; you shall not be partial…” (Deuteronomy 16:19)
The law should protect all.
We’re calling on West Virginia lawmakers to write just, impartial laws, and we support candidates with the courage to sponsor them.
